Empty

2022, paper, graphite, ink 13.5 in X 11.25 in

I had a spot at the couch, and then I moved. That place was forgotten and left empty. When I came back, that seat was no longer mine. It had been glossed over in the move; how could I take an unofficial assigned seat with me to college? I couldn’t… but that was okay. An empty spot, just for me.
